Computes a stable fingerprint of a model snapshot's schema-relevant state: two snapshots share a fingerprint exactly when they describe the same database schema, regardless of the event history that produced them. Display-only state (captions, display settings, diagram numbers, sections, sort orders, comments, tags) does not participate, so UI-only edits keep the fingerprint stable.
